No one shelving solution is right for every warehouse. That’s why there is an overwhelming number of options when it comes to choosing shelving for your warehouse.
So, with countless choices, how can someone even begin to decide what kind of shelving is the best for their warehouse?
Before you find yourself flooded with options, it’s always best to start with what you know. You should already have an idea of what you need your shelving to hold. That will help you narrow down your options significantly.
For example, weight and size is an important factor to consider. There are shelving systems that are specifically meant for lightweight items and there are other systems that can handle a heavier load.
Choosing What’s Right
We carry three types of Penco warehouse shelving solutions that are perfect for any need not requiring heavy duty pallet racks. These options include the Clipper, RivetRite, and Erectomatic shelving solutions.
Our Clipper shelving is a high-quality industrial unit that’s available in medium, heavy duty and extra heavy duty capacities. These shelves consist of steel shelves with compression shelf clips. They are available in either open or closed configurations, and come in a variety of sizes. Hardware is required for assembly of Clipper shelving units.
RivetRite is an economical option for a warehouse solution. They come in single or double storage units, and have adjustable shelves that allow you to customize your units to fit your needs. Common uses for this type of solution include record storage and automotive parts storage. Plus, these units don’t require any special tools and are easy to assemble.
Erectomatic shelving units are Hi-Performance shelves built for extra heavy duty loads or high rise applications, but come in four different capacity classes. They come in sizes up to 48 inches wide and 36 inches deep. Additionally, the shelves are punched to allow for accessories such as dividers or label holders.
